Research Stipend Opportunity at the Rockefeller Archive Center


The Rockefeller Archive Center offers competitive research stipends to support research in the Rockefeller Archive Center collections.

The research stipend provides each recipient with up to $5,000 for travel and accommodations.

The deadline for applications is November 1, 2019, and potential applicants must contact the RAC’s staff by email no later than October 15, 2019 with a description of the research project.

Topics may include issues that the rich Rockefeller foundations archives refer to, including its activities related to:

·         agricultural development

·         public health 

·         history of medicine

·         history of nursing

·         performing and visual arts

·         international relations

·         technology and innovation

·         struggles for social equity

·         museums and cultural institutions

·         American education

·         civil rights advocacy

·         refugee support

·         tenements and immigration

·         population studies
