Humanities Without Walls

CLA faculty and graduate student meeting with Humanities Without Walls leader and UIUC historian Antoinette Burton (zoom event)

Events Faculty Grad

Please join the CLA community at a conversation with Antoinette Burton , the head of the Humanities Without Walls initiative. Antoinette has been the mind and soul behind the HWW Grand Challenges grant program and the summer doctoral workshops in Chicago funded by the Mellon foundation. Several of our humanities and social science scholars, both graduate students and faculty members, benefitted from these initiatives.

Antoinette will join us on Webex on February 8 at noon (12 PM), as part of the HWW Road Scholar program.

She will rekindle the conversations between our scholars and the HWW initiative, such that CLA scholars, including graduate students, fully benefit from our partnership in the HWW consortium. One goal is to inform the CLA community about potential funding and collaborations.
