HWW Grand Challenge Calls for Proposals

Purdue University is part of Humanities Without Walls, and as a special benefit, we are invited to compete in the limited submission competition for humanities research Grand Challenge grants. Humanities Without Walls invites applications for interdisciplinary, collaborative, research-based projects in the humanities and arts that build a clearly communicated commitment to methodologies of reciprocity and redistribution into their project design and proposal narratives, regardless of the research topic or theme they focus on.

Sandia-Purdue Collaboration for FY21 Laboratory Directed Research Development

Sandia seeks Purdue faculty, including CLA, who might be interested in partnering with Sandia PI as collaborators in the upcoming FY21 LDRD proposals. In order to improve the timeline for university collaborations, Sandia is collecting faculty research summaries that align with Sandia’s research needs so that potential PIs can engage with faculty sooner to develop proposals.

We recently announced an internal funding competition for supporting proposals in response to the Humanities Without Walls Research Challenge scheduled for the Fall of 2021. The deadline for the local competition is April 23, 2021, while the one for the Research Challenge for November 15, 2021.
